I'm not knocking LFS. Infact I haven't knocked LFS ever, simply said the development staff are wrong (in my opinion and my experiences with Cust.service) to leave paying customers in the dark for months, years at a time.
Saying that I don't care about the birthday is my opinion because he's a developer to a software that I use, not a friend or a work colleague or something.
Do you do the same for Gabe Newell at Steam, that other guy at NetKar Pro, do you create threads on Adobe saying happy birthday it's CEO? What I'm trying to say is that it's all a bit kiss-arsey, bunch of people who think saying happy birthday to a developer who probably couldn't care either way would somehow get them a Scirocco earlier!!? no.
I'm not going to say something for the sake of it.
ps DarkHun your PM was completely not hurtful in any way, my 3 year old niece could talk down to me in a more effective manner.
No it makes it hotter that's why the ice caps are supposedly melting however i doubt they are in the grand sceme of things if you look at antartica it's hardly a lack of ice for a martini.
Yeah I remember last year it was already snowing this time of year, regularly freezing overnight, slushy rains, etc. Last night the road gritters were out and it was about -2 or -3 overnight this last night but up until the weekend it had been 6 or 7 degrees overnight. Nippy but not winter, regularly 12-13 degrees in the day... but I have a feeling the winter once it actually takes hold will be quite long. :sadbanana
The thing is, I'm not sure when to get my wheels mounted up. Because looking at the weather it seems like it'll go back to being 9-10 degrees again... It did this last month, 2 days of freezing-cold-ness and frost and then it was like a pleasant autumn. I guess the trees are a good indicator as most of them still have their leaves, albeit getting a bit yellow.
To you and to everyone else who thinks they are being smart (except XCNuse who has the right idea); they are crappy tyres which were on the wheels when I bought them from the scrapyard.
But thanks for letting me know "hey you painted with the tyres", THANK GOD YOU MENTIONED IT I WOULD HAVE NEVER NOTICED.
I have a set of 4 winter tyres which are in the shed and are being mounted up this week so, there was no need to mask the tyres as these ones are going IN THE BIN. No point taking an hour to mask off tyres which will be junked.
They are winter wheels. So why not do them a silly colour? I want it to be different. I wouldn't paint my normal wheels that colour (they are a nice metallic anthracite as you can see) but for winter, it was either a fluorescent blue (unfortunately it was £9 for a small can and I'd have needed about 6 cans so not worth the cost), pink (I was originally going to do this but then thought against it) or a deep candy red. I couldn't find the red I wanted so I picked the first colour which jumped out at me which was this orange
i just read a couple of guides ages ago when i did my engine bay and i remembered...basically prep is everything. nice and keyed and clean and then the right painting methods and time between coats innit bruv.
I mean some 13 year olds are mature enough to make the decision to have sex, will use condoms, etc. Where as some 25 year olds haven't got a clue about it.
Yet because some politician has drawn a line in the sand RE: age that makes it all bad? Nahh.
What details? They have no exhausts on offer for my model of car, I asked about if they wanted to use my car for an exhaust, they said yes. . It wasn't out of the blue they did offer for another vehicle and i enquired about mine so...I wouldn't recommend randomly emailing companies asking for free exhausts.
with this exhaust all i will need is a panel filter and (another) custom map and i will be at stage 2 and running about 175bhp.
Fingers crossed getting a free full exhaust system. I was asked if I would allow an exhaust company to use my car as a development bed, so just getting dates all arranged but probably drop my car off 10th december and get it back the next saturday so the 17th. it's a 150 mile drive to the place and i won't have my car for a week but i can't complain - turbo back system all free.
are we discussing health benefits? didn't know it was fdaa approved. it's a fuel, no-one prescribes petrol as a treatment for a cold do they...they use it to fuel their cars. if you drank loads of petrol you'd die so it's the same thing.
i'm happy to have a rational, non scientific (because i'm not a scientist and neither are you) debate/discussion but you'll just read your anti-nuclear websites and paste a load of made up statistics
The only arrogance I really see is you behaving in a manner that Deko described.
However when you say "as radiation is proven harmful, why build nuclear plants on faultlines, in tsunami prone areas etc."
Which in itself is a fair enough comment and also reads that you're not against nuclear power, but rather nuclear power stations in high-risk natural distaster areas. That would be good because it would a) satisfy your "omg radiation kills u!1!/!@@11!" theory but also satisfies most people's desire for clean and dependable energy.
But with a Tsunami, a conspiracy theory? Yeah Obama got my Mum to jump in the sea and create a massive wave to take out half of Fukishima or whatever it is...probably true
that is technically correct however it wouldn't really be a finable thing; your plate is clearly displayed and legally sized and spaced - only the really most up-arsey of police man would do you for that. i would just say "well passed an mot so suck my wang".
also jack then you must have selective vision. i've never seen a "matt" plate...certainly not on my travels and i do a lot of traveling!
here's a photo taken before i went out with my mate tonight. the civic on the left is my neighbours which has a standard plate, mine is a pressed one i got from ebay in an abt tuning surround.
for some reason when the flash is on the inside of my case shows up..fine when it's off but hey..
